How Rock Chip Repair Works

The chip is cleaned of dirt and moisture so the resin can bond properly.
A clear resin is injected into the chip under pressure, filling the crack and displacing trapped air.
The resin is cured, typically with UV light, until it hardens and bonds with the surrounding glass.
The surface is polished smooth so the repair is minimally visible and safe to drive on immediately.
